At Sunday night's rope bondage peer group workshop, I found out that when you reach the end of your rope you should tie a knot and continue lacing your subby. That advice was courtesy of Master Rope Knot, one of the many great knot tiers that assembled in Coventry this weekend to show off and share their skills. The evening started off quite chilled with people milling around saying their hellos and showing off the new toys they had bought earlier at the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar. Pallandro had chosen the perfect venue. There was plenty of room in Caesar's for everyone to lay out their ropes and set to work. In no time at all, the itchy fingers of these human macrame specialists set to work. And we were soon surrounded by gorgeous naked men and women in rope underwear - their legs hobbled by intricate weaving. MRK gave us a treat..suspending one very happy looking woman from a cage with a blindfold and Lady Violently also showed us a few new tricks. And I found myself disappointed that my boy Captive has a shorn head after we learned how to use a rope to bind a subby's hair and body together. No sudden movements from any poor -- lucky?-- soul who finds him/herself in that predicament, I can tell you! I had a good time, courtesy of two only too willing little subbies, who let me practise my newly acquired skills. I have done very little rope work in the past...always preferring the immediacy of a catering pack of clingfilm. But the designs put together by these afficionados was an inspiration and I'm determined to give it a go now I'm back home. After all If I get really good at it, it will make deciding how to dress Captive a real breeze! 2 comments|post comment

Club Lash [15 Jul 2004|02:18pm] I have often heard talk that for those of us who like our clubs dark and with a heavy peppering of play there is much fun to be had north of the Watford Gap. But being a London girl through and through and with enough bottoms in the Big Smoke to keep even the most demanding Lady happy, I have never been that tempted to find out for myself. Last Friday, though, I finally caved into pressure from the ever gorgeous Lady Samantha and Miss Chambers. Captive Angel packed our bags, we dressed up in our warm furs and ventured up to colder climes.. What a joy it was. Club Lash has just recently moved to a new, very central venue in Manchester only minutes from the station and a couple of fet friendly hotels on the edge of the village. And what a venue! Open brick work painted dark purple definitely set the mood for voracious BDSM enthusiasts within its walls. Add to this the very well equipped dungeon with equipment supplied by Roissy Workshops and this mistress was in heaven. Within the confines of the dungeon area there were two innovations that really made the evening. With non-players confined to a viewing gallery the dom/mes are free to get on with the matter at hand -- or foot or bottom or well you know what I mean. And the space also acted as a holding pen for wannabe subs...saves a girl a lot of trouble when the subbies are all herded up on the edge of the dungeon like that. And the fab dungeon monitors -- always on hand with advice or toys -- also made the night one of my faves ever. With the dungeon space cleared of the seemingly unavoidable voyeurs, wankers and lost clubbers, I soon had Captive blindfolded pinned down and at my mercy. There was no queue of people waiting for me to finish or interrupting to ask whether they could join in and the poor boy got more than he has come to expect on a night out. Once I'd had my fill we settled down to watch a display from Roissy's Laurence. His speed and skill with the ropes and flog are always a sight to behold. And the lovely girl at his mercy was soon warmed up to a tee. All too soon two o'clock came around and we adjourbed to our room to contemplate the warm Northern welcome we had received.. It was so good, I'm going to the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar next week. It ain't grim up North after all. post comment
